Thousands of fishermen in the coastal town of Kasimedu in Chennai, India rely on fishing to feed themselves.
Every year they undergo a two-month trawling ban which affects the entire Indian east coast to protect fish stocks during the breeding season.
This is the time that many of the boats are pulled out to the shore for maintenance to prepare for the next fishing season.
