Bishop Thomas Dabre was born on Oct. 23, 1945. He was ordained priest on Oct. 31, 1971 and was ordained bishop on May 27, 1990. He was appointed bishop of Pune on Apr. 4, 2009.
On Mar. 25, 2023 Pope Francis accepted the resignation of Bishop Thomas Dabre from the pastoral care of the Pune diocese.
